A welcoming Venetian host will greet you with warmth in his home used as a Bed And Breakfast. The "palazzina" is also encompassed by beautiful picturesque landscaping and quaint historic buildings. Thanks to the nearby water bus stations, public transportation is easily accessible.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a classic Venetian house owned by Michelangelo's family for three generations and over sixty years. The B&B is spacious and very bright. Upon its entrance, the garden presents an elegance in its history and charm. The entire furnishing of the house presents a blend of Venetian antiques, tapestries, rugs and woven vintage originals coming mainly from the East. These furnishings honor the tradition of the old seafaring adventurers, Venetian merchants, and especially Michelangelo's Grandfather Radames Silvestri (famous pioneer and yogi master) and Michelangelo's Grandmother Elena Torta (writer and painter) who acquired collectables from all around the world. This gives a special atmosphere of the historic mansion overlooking the private garden of the house and the facade of Ognissanti church.
Both bedrooms are equipped with an individually adjustable air conditioning system and a TV Led with programs, news and movies offered in English. The room price includes breakfasts, bed linens, towels, and utilities. Wifi internet access is also included. Please note that the kitchen of the house is not available for guests. You can have lunch and dinner in the several restaurants and "osterie" of the Dorsoduro neighbourhood. Rates may be subject to change based on working days, weekends, bank holidays, as well as periods of high and low season.
